22 miles northwest of Hanna, the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission hold an easement for road access across private land to access Bureau of Reclamation lands around Seminoe Reservoir. There is one parking area, which provides river/reservoir access to the Medicine Bow River and Seminoe Reservoir. The parking area features a comfort station and an improved boat ramp. The reservoir provides quality fishing year-round for walleye and trout, as well as hunting opportunities on public lands surrounding the reservoir. It is the sportsperson’s responsibility to determine land boundaries in this area of mixed land ownership. There is a 14-day camping limit. Check for fire restrictions, as frequent drought conditions elevate fire danger. Varying water levels can make the boat ramp unusable, at times. WGFD does not plow the access road and parking area in the winter.
