Saratoga Lake PAA is located northwest of Saratoga and managed through a cooperative agreement between the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission, The City of Saratoga, The State Land Board and private landowners. There are 4½ miles of lakeshore access which fishermen can use to fish the 300-acre lake. The developed camping areas, outhouses, boat ramp and boat dock are all managed by the Town of Saratoga under terms of the agreement. The lake provides quality fishing year round for brown and rainbow trout and the wetland complex provides excellent waterfowl hunting and bird watching opportunities. The Don Johnson Memorial boat launch provides a boat ramp site within the city limits and provides for various water recreation and fishing opportunities on the North Platte River.
