Packers Lake PAA is located 1.7 miles southwest of Lyman, Nebraska. The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission manages the area through a permanent public access easement since 1959. There are four parking areas and three primitive boat launch sites, which provide access to the 105-acre lake. The main parking area offers a well-maintained handicap-accessible comfort station. The lake provides quality fishing year round for black crappie, channel catfish, largemouth bass, rainbow trout, suckermouth minnows, and walleye as well as numerous waterfowl hunting opportunities.
