The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission own 2.6-acres approximately nine miles southwest of Casper that comprises North Platte River – Speck/Bessemer Bend Public Access Area. The Public Access Area has parking and an improved boat ramp for river access for fishing and floating. The area is adjacent to a developed BLM access area. There are no comfort station facilities here. No hunting, trapping, camping, or fires allowed. WGFD does not plow the parking area in the winter.
