The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission hold easements for access roads, two parking areas, camping, and pedestrian fishing access on Office of State Lands and Investments (OSLI) lands on both the east (Engstrom parking area) and west sides (Guthridge parking area) of the North Platte River. North Platte River - Miracle Mile Public Access Area is 35 miles northwest of Rawlins just off the Seminoe/Kortes Road. There are two parking areas and over two miles of river access for fishing on the easement. Each parking area has a modern comfort station and picnic tables in the camping areas. There is a 14-day camping limit. The river provides quality fishing year-round for rainbow trout and brown trout. The area also affords excellent seasonal waterfowl hunting opportunities. WGFD does not plow the access road and parking area in the winter.
