Little Popo Agie Public Access Area is an easement on the Little Popo Agie River that has an access road and two parking areas located off of Red Canyon Road. The parking areas bound the upstream and downstream extent of the public access easement. This access provides parking for fishing access only, no camping, fires, or hunting. Fishing for cutthroat, brown, and rainbow trout, and mountain whitefish is excellent on the Little Popo Agie. The Little Popo Agie does not have a boat launch. In the riparian areas along the river moose, whitetail deer, mule deer and Pronghorn antelope are common. The Little Popo Agie River access area is south of Lander, WY. Turn west on Red Canyon Rd. and follow fishing access roads to Little Popo Agie PAA. A CXT vault outhouse is located at the upstream parking area, and a woody outhouse is located at the downstream parking area. The access road and parking area are not plowed during the winter season.
