LAK Reservoir access is offered through a cooperative agreement with TRUE Ranches. Access is restricted to fishing only, and no motor boats of any kind are allowed to eliminate threat and spread of invasive aquatic species. There are four graveled parking locations along the east side of the reservoir. Sportspersons can catch Black Crappie, Brown Trout, Tiger Muskie, Walleye, White Crappie, Green Sunfish, Smallmouth Bass, and Black Bullhead. You can find LAK Reservoir by travelling east on Highway 16 approximately 5.5 miles from Newcastle, turn north on to beaver Creek County Road and continue for another mile until you reach the first parking lot.
