The Peternal Public Access Area (PAA) on the Hams Fork river is a 50’ pedestrian fishing only access on both sides of the river and continues downstream 1.3 miles from the fishing access trail. An access trail provides access to the river (please stay on trail to the easement area). The Hams Fork river has a population of Rainbow, Brown, Brook, Colorado River Cutthroat and an occasional Tiger trout. Visit the Peternal Access Area on Hams Fork river by traveling north from Kemmerer, WY on highway 223 towards Lake Viva Naughton 8.4 miles. The access road and parking area are not plowed during the winter season.
