The Huston Public Access Area (PAA) established in 2001, is 29.9 acres of Wyoming Game and Fish Commission land that provides parking, boat launching, and restroom facilities for fishing on the Green river. It is also the trailhead for walk-in fishing along the Sommers-Grindstone fishing easement. A variety of game fish species are found in the upper Green including Brown trout, Rainbow trout, and Mountain Whitefish. Moose, deer, and Pronghorn frequent the access area. No camping or fires permitted. Locate this access by driving 4.4 miles northwest of Pinedale, travel south on East Green River Road (Sublette County Rd 23-110) 4.3 miles to the Huston PAA. The access road and parking area are not plowed during the winter season.
