Fishing for Brown trout, Rainbow trout, and Mountain Whitefish can be excellent on the upper Green river. Fear meadows does not have a boat launch, the boat ramp is located to the north at Ferry Island PAA. In the riparian areas along the river, moose, deer and antelope are common. Wild iris blooms are impressive every spring in the wetland meadows. Find the Fear access areas south of Big Piney, WY, 5.7 miles, turn on Reardon Draw road and follow to fishing access road (BLM-Red Hills Rd) to Fear Meadows PAA. The access road and parking area are not plowed during the winter season.
