The Mcloughlin Public Access Area (PAA) near Daniel, WY on the Green river is a parking area only with walk-in access for fishing and waterfowl hunting only (no boat ramp/launch or camping). The access parking is limited and not recommended for RV’s or trailers. A variety of game fish species are found in the upper Green river including Brown and Rainbow trout, and Mountain Whitefish. Moose, Mule deer, and antelope frequent the access area. A tour of the Daniel Fish Hatchery is a short distance away. The Mcloughlin PAA is located on Pape Rd (Sublette County Rd 23-150) 13 miles northwest of Pinedale on Hwy 191. The access road and parking area are not plowed during the winter season.
