Woods Landing PAA is located 24 miles south west of Laramie on Wyoming Highway 230 and WY-10. The area is managed by the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission through a Memorandum of Understanding with the Wyoming Department of Transportation. There is one parking area, which provides safe access to the Laramie River. The parking area is developed and serves as a boat launch and takeout. The Laramie River provides floating and fishing opportunities for Brown and Rainbow Trout.
