The Wind River-Sawmill Public Access Area (PAA) is located on a an easement on the upper Wind River, southeast of Dubois. The PAA is accessed from Absaroka Dr. from US Hwy 287/26 and has two parking area adjacent to the Absaroka Dr., north of the bridge over the Wind River. Wind River-Sawmill provides parking for fishing access only, no camping, fires or hunting. Fishing for cutthroat, brown, and rainbow trout, and mountain whitefish is excellent on the Wind River. The Wind River-Sawmill does not have a boat launch. Wind River-Sawmill has handicapped accessible fishing platforms accessed from a concrete sidewalk. A handicapped parking pad is located at the upstream parking area to facilitate access. The Wind River-Sawmill PAA is southeast of Dubois, WY.
