The Salt River - Perkes' Public Access Area (PAA) is located on an easement on the Salt River, 6 miles north of Etna, Wyoming. The PAA is accessed from Creamery Rd via Hwy 89 and Stateline Rd, this PAA has a single parking area. This PAA provides parking for fishing and hunting access only, no camping or fires. Fishing for Snake River Cutthroat, Brown, Rainbow Trout, and Mountain Whitefish is excellent on the Salt River. The Salt River - Perkes' does have a primitive boat launch. In the riparian areas along the river, moose, White-tailed deer, and Mule deer are common. The access road and parking area are not plowed during the winter season.
