The Ogalalla Ranch Public Access Area includes 4,000 private land acres plus thousands of acres of accessible OSLI and BLM lands adjacent to the Access Area. Ogalalla Ranch PAA is open to hunting only from August 15 – November 30. Hunters must deposit landowner coupons in the drop box for animals harvested on the access area. Hunters must park only in the parking area. No motorized vehicles or bicycles allowed on private lands within the access area, only foot, or horseback travel allowed. Horses and pets must be under user control, and shall not graze on the access area. No camping or fires allowed on the PAA or on OSLI lands. It is the hunter’s responsibility to determine land boundaries. Do not hunt on adjacent private lands without permission. No preseason scouting allowed. No blinds or tree stands allowed. Hunters may use temporary, portable blinds but must remove them each day. All activities other than hunting require landowner permission. No commercial activities allowed, including outfitting or guiding. No shooting allowed within 100 yards of livestock or buildings. WGFD does not plow the parking area in the winter.
