Just 1 ½ mile west of Glenrock, the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission hold an easement for an access road, parking area, and a primitive boat ramp on OSLI land that comprises the North Platte River – Rabbit Hill Public Access Area. The parking area also features a modern comfort station. The river provides quality fishing year-round for rainbow and brown trout. The surrounding OSLI lands provide for deer, antelope, small game, and waterfowl hunting opportunities. No camping or fires allowed. WGFD does not plow the access road and parking area in the winter.
