In the midst of the Casper metro area in the town of Mills, the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission hold an easement for small parking area and a primitive boat ramp adjacent to the Mills Bridge. This is a convenient put-in/take-out point for a variety of float trips through Casper. The North Platte River – Mills Bridge Public Access Area also provides access to the Platte River Parkway trail system. No hunting, trapping, camping, or fires allowed. WGFD does not plow the parking area in the winter.
