Encampment River PAA is located approximately 2 miles south of the town of Encampment on Carbon County Road #353. The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) jointly manage the area. The roads provide access for fishing and hunting to lands managed by BLM, United States Forest Service, and Wyoming State Trust Lands.
