Alpine Wetlands Public Access Area (PAA) is 2 miles south of Alpine, Wyoming on the upper end of Palisades Reservoir and immediately adjacent to the Salt River. This PAA is a collaboration between the Wyoming Game and Fish, Bureau of Reclamation, Fish and Wildlife Service and the US Forest Service. The 360-acre wetland project was completed in 1993, with a series of ponds, sloughs and permanent wetlands to increase wetland habitats. Please use established parking areas, respect private property, no camping, no fires and pets must be leashed or under control. Waterfowl hunting is not allowed on the PAA.
