Winter Range Closures

While recent mild weather and limited snow at lower elevations may seem inviting, it is essential to respect seasonal closures protecting wintering wildlife. Human disturbance during this critical spring period can significantly stress animals when resources are most scarce. These closures reduce animal stress and ensure wildlife have the security to survive the season.
