The La Barge Creek Hunter Management Area is open for Moose hunting only, and may be accessed from Highway 189 south of the town of La Barge. The area is located west of Highway 189. You can access the property from the south at the Bondurant Road or from the north on La Barge Creek Road (CTY 315), then south on a private road shown on the map.

| Moose Permission slips are issued on a rolling first-come, first-served basis for the taking of moose for hunt periods between August 15th and October 12th. Hunt periods will be Friday through Sunday and Monday through Thursday. Applications for permission slips are accepted starting three (3) days prior to the start of each hunt period. (Example: You may apply August 12th to hunt August 15th - August 17th.) | |||
