Heading Location: From Trough Hollow down to the confluence with Salt Creek.

How to get there: Water Canyon Creek is a long way from anywhere, but right on a paved road. From Smoot, take highway 89 about 10 miles south to where Water Canyon Creek enters Salt Creek from the east. The instream flow segment extends upstream from this point another 1 mile. Be sure to pull off in a designated parking area before hiking down to the stream.
