CHEYENNE - Black Bear Hunting Seasons, Falconry and Raptor Propagation Regulation, and Wildlife Rehabilitation regulations are on the agenda for the January Wyoming Game and Fish Commission meeting at the Game and Fish Department Headquarters, Elk Room, 5400 Bishop Blvd., Cheyenne.
The regular open session meeting begins at 8 a.m. on Jan. 22. The Commission will take action on several itemsincluding Chapter 10, Regulation for Importation, Possession, Confinement, Transportation, Sale and Disposition of Live Wildlife, Chapter 33, Regulation Governing Issuance of Scientific Research, Educational or Special PurposePermits, and a request from USDA-APHIS for 20 Cow Elk for Brucellosis Research. The Commission will be updated on the fiscal year 2015 budget, the Chokecherry Sierra Madre Wind Development Project and the Bighorn Mountains Brucellosis Sampling Efforts. In addition, the Commission will hear presentations on Large Carnivore Impacts to Ungulates and the 2013 Large Carnivore Conflict Summary.
