CHEYENNE - April 15 is not only the deadline for filing taxes, it is also the deadline by which Wyoming women must submit their application for the Becoming an Outdoors Woman camp.
Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) is an outdoor skills program offered by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department each summer. This year, Wyoming’s BOW camp will be held June 14-16, 2013, at the Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp near Dubois. Activities at the weekend-long camp are designed to introduce women to a variety of outdoor pursuits—from hunting and shooting to fly fishing, canoeing, or wildlife photography.
Applications must be received by Game and Fish by 5 p.m. April 15. Applications submitted by fax and email will notbe accepted. The three-day event costs $175, which includes all meals, lodging, and equipment. Space is limited to 50 women. Participants will be selected through a random drawing.
