Hunter education class in Encampment
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will offer a hunter education class in Encampment beginning on March 9.
            The class will meet in the library at the Encampment School, 514 Rankin Ave., from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, March 9, 11, 16, 18, 30, and April 1. No classes will be held the week of March 23 due to spring break. A mandatory field day will be held on Saturday, April 4.
            There is a $10 fee per student, cash only please. Students must attend all class sessions to earn a hunter education certificate. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult for all class sessions.
            To enroll in the class, sign up online at the Game and Fish Department webpage at wgfd.wyo.gov/education. For more information about the class, please call instructor Doug Tieszen at (307) 399-1918.

Update on Upper Powder River Mule Deer Study
Buffalo Wildlife Biologist Cheyenne Stewart will give a presentation on the current findings of the Upper Powder River Mule Deer Study at 6 p.m. at the Johnson County Library in Buffalo.

Open House Season Setting Meeting- Greybull
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department invites you to attend a season setting open house in Greybull at the Town Hall from 5-8 p.m. March 25 to visit with local Game and Fish personnel about the 2020 hunting season recommendations for big game, small game and upland game birds.
