Verified Grizzly Bear Killed Livestock

-Verified five (5) calves as killed or injured by grizzly bears in the Pinedale Region.
 
-Verified one (1) calf as killed or injured by grizzly bears in the Cody Region.
 
 
Research and Monitoring
 
-Compiled location and reproductive data for annual evaluation of grizzly bear population status.
 
 
Bear Management (Captures, Relocations, and Removals)
 
-Captured and relocated an adult female grizzly bear for cattle depredation in the Pinedale Region.
 
-Captured and removed a subadult male grizzly bear in the Pinedale Region for multiple cattle depredations and failed relocation attempt.
 
-Captured and removed a subadult female grizzly bear in the Cody Region for frequenting developed areas and failed relocation attempt.
 
Law Enforcement and Related Activities
-Investigated a grizzly bear mortality in the Dubois area.
 
-Investigated report of an individual injured by a grizzly bear in the Lander Region west of Dubois.   
 
Outreach and Education
 
-Conducted multiple media (print and television) interviews regarding grizzly bear management and bear safety/awareness.
