Verified Grizzly Bear Killed Livestock

-Nothing to report.
 
Research and Monitoring
 
-Retrieved a dropped grizzly bear collar from the northern end of the Wyoming Range.
 
-Monitored grizzly bear activity and roadside behavior (bear and human) in the Togwotee pass area.
 
-Captured two male grizzly bears for monitoring purposes.  Biological samples were obtained and the bears were fitted with tracking collars.
 
Bear Management (Captures, Relocations, and Removals)
 
-Nothing to report.
 
Law Enforcement and Related Activities
-Assisted with a grizzly bear mortality investigation, cause of death was determined to be from a vehicle strike.   
 
Outreach and Education
 
-Gave a bear safety and ecology presentation to Hulett High School students.
 
-Presented bear safety information to new employees of the USFS Big Piney and Pinedale Ranger districts.
