Verified Grizzly Bear Killed Livestock

-Nothing to report.
 
Research and Monitoring
 
-Prepared for upcoming capture efforts for monitoring purposes and retrieved naturally shed collars from previously marked grizzly bears.
 
-Monitored grizzly bear activity in the Togwotee Pass area northwest of Dubois, WY.
 
Bear Management (Captures, Relocations, and Removals)
 
-Captured and relocated two adult grizzly bears and one subadult grizzly bear in the Cody Region.  These bears were captured for frequenting developed sites in residential areas.  Increased activity in lower elevations occurs during this time of year due to high snowpack levels.
 
Law Enforcement and Related Activities
- Nothing to report.  
 
Outreach and Education
 
-Conducted an interactive “Carnivore Trail”, featuring information on bear ecology, safety, and awareness at the Lander Wyoming Outdoor Weekend (WOW).
 
-Conducted multiple print media interviews regarding grizzly bear activity and management throughout northwest Wyoming.
