Verified Grizzly Bear Killed Livestock

-Nothing to report.
 
Research and Monitoring
 
-Continued grizzly bear observation flights in the southern part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem’s Demographic Monitoring Area.
 
-Captured four (4) grizzly bears for monitoring purposes, biological samples were obtained and the animals marked for future monitoring.
 
-Monitored grizzly bear activity and roadside behavior in the Togwotee pass area - conducted a great deal of public interaction during the course of monitoring efforts.
 
Bear Management (Captures, Relocations, and Removals)
 
-Conducted non-lethal aversive conditioning to deter grizzly bears from commingling on/near U.S Highway 26/287.
 
Law Enforcement and Related Activities
-Nothing to report.   
 
Outreach and Education
 
-Worked with Boy Scouts of America on outdoor education and safety in the Wind River Mountains outside of Lander, WY.
 
-Conducted multiple personal and media outlet interviews regarding grizzly bear ecology and conservation focused on grizzly bear management actions taken by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department and our role in grizzly bear conservation.
