Adam Hansen recently began duties as the North Gillette game warden in September after transferring from the Kaycee game warden district.
A native of Iowa, Hansen graduated from Upper Iowa University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in conservation management and environmental science. He worked several seasonal jobs during college for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources doing habitat and public land management work, wildlife and bird population surveys and eventually seasonal watercraft and fishing law enforcement.
Hansen was hired by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department in April 2020. After graduating from the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy in July 2020, he worked as a warden in the Casper Regional Office. He had served as the Kaycee district game warden since June 1, 2021.

Emmalee Raish began duties as the Sheridan regional game warden in August.
Raish is a Laramie native. She attended Brigham Young University in Hawaii and graduated with a biology degree in spring 2018. Upon her return to Wyoming, she worked for Game and Fish as a chronic wasting disease technician and as a technician in the wildlife health laboratory. From 2019 to 2021 she held various positions in the nongame section, surveying for black-footed ferrets and pikas. She was hired by Glacier National Park as an outdoor education instructor in summer 2022. In fall 2022, she worked for Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks as a chronic wasting disease coordinator.
She passed the Wyoming game warden exam in January 2023 and began work in April. She graduated with top academic honors from the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy in July 2023.
As a regional warden, Raish will patrol throughout the Sheridan Region and assist district wardens this hunting season.
