Studying Mule Deer in the Upper Powder River Country lecture

Join us October 23 at 7 p.m. in Mars Agriculture Center Room 201 at Sheridan College for “Studying Mule Deer in the Upper Powder River Country” lecture by WGFD Buffalo Wildlife Biologist Cheyenne Stewart.

Stewart will provide an update on the Mule Deer Initiative project that began in late 2018 with the GPS-collaring of 70 adult mule deer does in the Upper Powder River deer herd and will continue for the next three years.

This free, public lecture is part of the Sheridan College Science Museum Fall 2019 Lecture Series.

Bud Love Annual Youth Pheasant Hunt

The fourth annual Youth Pheasant Hunt will be held on the Bud Love Wildlife Habitat Management Area on Saturday, Nov. 16. Youth ages 17 and under are invited to participate. Please contact the regional office for more details.
