The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is hoping someone will come forward with information on a mule deer that was found dead on private land bordering Glendo State Park.

Laramie - Game Warden Becca Lutz said the 3x4 buck mule deer was reported dead in a field about a mile west of the intersection of Glendo Creek Road and Patton Creek Road near Sandy Beach; an area closed to hunting. Warden Lutz said the deer died of a gunshot wound on approximately Oct. 10 or 11, but no meat was removed from the carcass. Anyone with information on this case to call the Stop Poaching Tip Line at 1-877-WGFD-TIP (1-877-943-3847) or online.
