Laramie -

Approximately 56,000 rainbow trout were recently stocked in Wheatland Reservoir #3. The fish were raised at Speas Fish Hatchery in Casper and are catchable size at about 8 inches in length. Wheatland #3 receives a lot of fish due to its size. Anglers can expect to catch rainbow trout, brown trout, and an occasional walleye.

Yellowstone cutthroat trout were stocked in Cheyenne lakes, with Sloan's Lake receiving 2,500 fish and Lake Absarraca receiving 2,000. The catchable-sized cutthroat trout were raised the Tensleep Fish Hatchery.
