Laramie -

Pheasant hunters: due to unforeseen circumstances, pheasant stocking will be greatly reduced on two walk-in areas throughout the pheasant season. Habitat conditions have deteriorated at Laramie County Walk-In Area 26 near Albin, and recent snows have ruined cover at Platte County Walk-In Area 20.

As a result, Laramie County 26 will only be lightly stocked and no more birds will be released on Platte County 20 unless conditions improve.

Stocking will focus on Laramie County Walk-In Area 21 and Goshen County walk-in areas and will continue as usual at Springer/Bump Sullivan and Table Mountain Wildlife Habitat Management Areas.
