Laramie - Fish biologists recently stocked 1,000 Colorado River cutthroat trout in Crow Creek at John and Annie Woodhouse Public Access Area between Laramie and Cheyenne. The fingerling fish, which were raised at Daniel Fish Hatchery, were stocked in the stream above Lower North Crow Reservoir. It will be two to three years until these fish are big enough to fill an angler’s creel. While they grow, you might want to try your luck downstream at Lower North Crow reservoir where 12-inch rainbow trout and 8 inch tiger trout wait to bite your line. And don’t forget to check out the new wheelchair-accessible fishing pier that was built last year.
