How cool would it be to get this close to a mountain lion and no one gets hurt?

Green River -

Green River Game Warden Jacob Brown and Cokeville Game Warden Neil Hymas were investigating a radio collar mortality signal from a fawn mule deer when Jacob looked up into the trees and saw this big wild cat watching him. Jacob said there were two mountain lions in the tree, but one of them bailed out of the tree and took off. Officer Hymas took the photos with his cell phone. Rarely does a person get so close to a mountain lion (or two!), unless they are hunting them. Wild animals offer some awesome photography experiences, as well and an adrenaline rush now and then!

Mountain lion hunters are reminded to call the lion mortality limit hotline before going hunting! That number is toll free and updated daily: 1-800-264-1280.
