Cody - The Wyoming Game and Fish Department invites the public to an open house with commissioners and department staff from the region and from Cheyenne from 5:30 – 7 p.m. on March 14 at the Holiday Inn in Cody. During the open house, four lifetime licenses for game bird/small game/fishing/conservation stamp donated by Trout Unlimited will be raffled off for youth.

Cody Regional Wildlife Supervisor Dan Smith said this is a great opportunity to meet Game and Fish Commissioners and local staff in an informal setting.  “Anyone interested is welcome,” Smith said.  “Youth and families are encouraged to attend as there will be lifetime licenses raffled off for youth as well as other activities for kids.”
Trout Unlimited, the event’s sponsor, will provide refreshments and have purchased four lifetime licenses for that will be given away to youth at the event.  “We appreciate Trout Unlimited’s effort in supporting this event,” Smith said.  “Each lifetime license donated is valued at $681.50 and includes a lifetime conservation stamp.  The license affords the winner the opportunity to fish, hunt small game and hunt game birds without purchasing an annual license for their entire lifetime.”

Any Wyoming resident youth under the age of 18 is eligible to enter the drawing.  Two male and two female winners will be randomly selected during the open house.  Winners must be present at time of drawing.
