Jake Brown of Thermopolis begins his career as a game warden, following in his father's footsteps

Cody - Recently, Jake Brown of Thermopolis completed the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy and attended a badge pinning ceremony, initiating his career as a game warden with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.  Jake is no stranger to the Game and Fish however.  He grew up in Wyoming and spent a lot of time with his father, Thermopolis Game Warden Benge Brown who has served as a game warden in Wyoming for 26 years.

Jake has also worked previously for Game and Fish as a technician at the Boulder Fish Hatchery and as wildlife damage technician in Cody.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology from University of Wyoming and is now stationed in Green River.
