Hunting seasons regulations public meeting-Cody

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will hold a public meeting in at the Park County Library in Cody at 6 p.m. May 28 and has opened a comment period to gather public input on hunting seasons and regulations. The meetings will address proposals for:

  • Chapter 4, Furbearing Animal Hunting or Trapping Seasons
  • Chapter 25, Falconry and Raptor Propagation Regulation
  • Chapter 32, Regulation Governing Firearm Cartridges and Archery Equipment
  • Chapter 42, Mountain Lion Hunting Seasons
  • Chapter 44, Regulation for Issuance of Licenses, Permits, Stamps, Tags, Preference Points and Competitive Raffle Chances
  • Chapter 47, Gray Wolf Hunting Seasons

Bighorn Basin Sage Grouse Working Group meeting

The Bighorn Basin Sage Grouse Working Group will meet May 30 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department regional office (2820 Hwy 120) in Cody.

Public meeting to discuss CWD- Worland

Join us June 3 from 6-9 p.m. at the Worland Community Center Complex to discuss CWD and the CWD management plan.  Game and Fish will share the latest information on CWD and what we are seeing both locally and across Wyoming before we break out into groups to hear what you think of CWD and the CWD management plan.
