April Commission Meeting
The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission will be meeting in Jackson, April 19-22. The public is invited to attend in person or via ZOOM video conferencing and will have a chance to comment on each specific agenda item and can speak to the Commission about any matter, regardless of their attendance method.

For those who would like to attend in person, the meeting will be held at the Jackson Hole Conference Center, 920 West Broadway. The meeting will follow state and county public gathering orders.

To participate via ZOOM, links to join the meeting for each day are available on the Commission webpage. A phone option is available.The full agenda with all presentations is available on the Game and Fish website. Wyoming AIS Inspector Public Training in Spearfish
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is offering a training for members of the public to become a certified Wyoming aquatic invasive species (AIS) inspector. This training will be led by Game and Fish personnel and held at the boat dealer Recstation.net in Spearfish. The training will provide the skills necessary to inspect personally-owned and other watercraft as well.

The training includes information on basic biology of invasive species, the impacts of AIS, transport vectors and distribution of AIS. It includes classroom instruction, a question-and-answer session and a hands-on watercraft inspection exercise. The training is free and open to anyone interested in preventing the spread of AIS through watercraft inspection.

Aquatic invasive species can be aquatic animals such as zebra and quagga mussels or rusty crayfish, or aquatic vegetation such as hydrilla.

Trainings are offered as a one-day course from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
