2021 Expo @ School
As the traditional Wyoming Outdoor Expo is cancelled this year, we are getting creative to still provide a rich educational experience for students.
There are three facets to the experience:
- Wyoming teachers can register to receive hands-on activities in "booth boxes" that will be delivered to their schools and paired with a live video Q&A from Game & Fish experts. Think of these as a traditional Expo Booth - in a box!*
- Each themed booth box contains 3-5 activities, with lesson plans and materials to facilitate the activities included. Each activity takes approximately 30-45 minutes. This means each box provides approximately 225 minutes of activity time for your students!
- Boxes will be delivered to your school during the week of April 19, and picked up by May 14, giving your school a few weeks to experience the fun of booth boxes. As a follow up to your booth box activities, your class will have the opportunity to set up a video call between a topic expert and your class on May 6 or 7 to ask questions after completing the activities and learn even more!
- Digital resources and content to use with your students anytime, for both in-person and remote learners (see our "Expo @ Home" resources).
- Live digital “main-stage” presentations to tune into on May 6 & 7 -- more info to come!
*Due to limited supplies and distribution capacity, booth boxes are only available to Wyoming schools, however schools from anywhere are welcome to use our digital resources and join in for the "main-stage" presentations
What's inside the booth boxes? Check out the activities included in each box below -- anyone can use these great resources whether they are a class or family!
