If you are interested in improving safe and ethical sportsmanship in the field and furthering the education of responsable wildlife conservation, we need your help! WGFD is always looking for new Volunteer Hunter Education Instructors. The Wyoming hunter education and bowhunter education programs would not be possible without the network of dedicated and passionate volunteer instructors. They are living examples of how every hunter should demonstrate safe, ethical and responsible behavior to themselves, other hunters, landowners and the natural resources they use. Ideal volunteers have experience hunting in Wyoming and/or in other states and are passionate about sharing safe and ethical hunting with the new hunters. HE instructors are encouraged to teach as part of a team to help highlight each instructor’s strengths, providing a well rounded experience for students. If you have questions that can't be answered online, please call (307) 777-5070 or wgfhuntered@wyo.gov.
