Congratulations on drawing a license this year.

The nonresident elk licenses were mailed on March 10, 2016. Sportspersons should start receiving their licenses within 7-10 business days. If you have not received your license within 20 business days, please contact Game and Fish to coordinate the receipt of a duplicate at (307) 777-4600.

Prior to mailing the nonresident elk licenses, the mailing address for each license is verified with an address cleansing software that checks for address changes within the last 48 months. The nonresident elk licenses are printed and mailed by Game and Fish. The printing and mailing preparation takes approximately 5-7 days.

t takes approximately 20-30 business days for Game and Fish to receive mail that was sent to the incorrect address. If your address is incorrect in our licensing system and there was no forwarding information in the United States Postal Service system, your license will be returned to us. The easiest way to prevent this from occurring is to update your address when you apply for licenses using our online licensing system. If you move after applying, you can change your address online or by calling the Game and Fish Telephone Information Center at (307) 777-4600.
