Verified Grizzly Bear Killed Livestock

-Verified one (1) calf killed or injured by grizzly bears in the Pinedale Region.
 
-Verified one (1) calf killed or injured by grizzly bears in the Cody Region.
 
Research and Monitoring
 
-Retrieved a naturally shed grizzly bear collar in the Pinedale Region.
 
Bear Management (Captures, Relocations, and Removals)
 
-Captured and relocated a subadult male grizzly bear from the Cody Region for frequenting residential areas.
 
Law Enforcement and Related Activities
-Predator Attack Team personnel responded to a hunter injured by a grizzly bear northwest of Dubois, WY.  Personnel responded to assist with the safe extrication of the individual for medical attention, and provided a full investigation of the scene of the attack.   
 
Outreach and Education
 
-Provided free bear spray to hunters in the Jackson Region as well as providing general bear safety information.
 
-Conducted multiple television, radio, and print media interviews regarding bear awareness and bear safety for hunters in grizzly bear country.
