Verified Grizzly Bear Killed Livestock

-Verified two (2) calves and one (1) yearling killed or injured by grizzly bears in the Pinedale Region.
 
Research and Monitoring
 
-Retrieved two dropped collars naturally shed by grizzly bears. 
 
Bear Management (Captures, Relocations, and Removals)
 
-Captured and removed an adult male grizzly bear from the Pinedale Region due to livestock depredations.
 
-Documented and retrieved a subadult male grizzly bear that had been killed by a vehicle on Highway 120 north of Meeteetse, WY, approximately 15 miles east of the Demographic Monitoring Area boundary.
 
 
Law Enforcement and Related Activities
-Nothing to report.
 
Outreach and Education
 
-Gave a bear safety presentation to 7D ranch employees and guests.
 
-Gave BLM firefighters bear safety material while working and camping in bear country for the Gooseberry fire.
