Verified Grizzly Bear Killed Livestock

-Verified fix (6) calves as killed or injured by grizzly bears in the Pinedale Region.
 
-Verified two (2) calves as killed or injured by grizzly bears in the Cody Region.
 
-Verified two (2) calves as killed or injured by grizzly bears in the Lander Region.
 
 
Research and Monitoring
 
-Documented grizzly bear family groups for monitoring of distribution and evaluation of abundance.
 
-Continued grizzly bear observation flights throughout the Wyoming portion of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
 
 
Bear Management (Captures, Relocations, and Removals)
 
-Captured and relocated an adult male grizzly bear for obtaining unsecured attractants and proximity to ranches in the Cody region.
 
Law Enforcement and Related Activities
-Nothing to report.   
 
Outreach and Education
 
-Developed and distributed bear safety messaging for hunters and fall recreationists in order to reduce the potential for conflicts between bears and people.
 
-Provided bear safety and bear awareness messaging as travelers and tourists came to Wyoming for the total eclipse.
