recovered eagle released near Casper

Casper - In January a concerned member of the public called Game and Fish in Casper to report an injured golden eagle just outside of town.  Upon investigation, Casper Wildlife Biologist Heather O’Brien and Wildlife Coordinator Justing Binfet found the eagle could survive with rehabilitation.  The Teton Raptor Center gladly worked with the bird for about six weeks to get it back into shape.  On March 18, the bird was released near Casper back into the wild.  A great success story.  Thanks goes out to both the member of the public who cared enough to call it in and the Teton Raptor Center for taking such great care of the golden eagle.
