Casper - The Bates Hole/Shirley Basin Sage-Grouse Working Group will hold a meeting on March 28 to discuss the Governor’s Executive Order for sage-grouse and to introduce the new Game and Fish Sage-Grouse Coordinator Leslie Schreiber to the working group.  Governor Gordon intends to revise and update the Executive Order and is asking for input from local working groups.  However, it should be noted the core area boundaries will not be revised at this time.

The Bates Hole/Shirley Basin Sage-Grouse Working Group is one of eight regional working groups statewide.  Each group is composed of citizens representing groups interested in sage-grouse conservation.

The meeting will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 28 at the Casper Game and Fish office, 3030 Energy Lane.  The meeting is open to the public.

The Game and Fish supports the Americans with Disabilities Act. Anyone needing auxiliary aids to attend this meeting should call or 307-233-6404. Every effort will be made for reasonable accommodations.
