How to get there - Take exit 65 at Glenrock and drive southwest on the Deer Creek Road (also known as the Stephens Road) about 15 miles to the mouth of the canyon.  A portion of the existing route involves two-track trails that will be upgraded in the near future.  Signage to direct anglers to the access area will eventually follow.  From the parking lot at the mouth of the canyon, anglers can enter the canyon on foot.  There isn't a developed trail, which means hiking along the stream can be strenuous in places so plan to give yourself plenty of time if you want to go very far into the canyon.
