CHEYENNE - Watercraft regulations, low altitude flight policy, sage-grouse population trends and Russian olive removal projects are on the agenda for the Sept. 22-23 Wyoming Game and Fish Commission meeting at The Virginian Convention Center in Jackson.
On September 22 the Commission will attend a tour, guided by Game and Fish field personnel, to see the Snake River and Horse Creek Feedground. The tour is open to members of the public; the general public will need to provide their own transportation and meals for the tour.
The regular open session meeting begins at 8 a.m. on Sept. 23. The Commission will take action on several items including Chapter 22 – Watercraft Regulation, Low Altitude Flight Policy, Appointment of Chief Fiscal Officer, and Animal Damage Management Board Projects. In addition, the Commission will hear presentations on the Russian Olive Removal Project along the Bighorn River and Sage-grouse Population Trends.
